Related Cases – Cases identified as related on the voluntary petition are assigned to the judge who is randomly assigned the first case filed.

Repeat Filer Cases – Repeat filer cases are assigned to the same judge who was assigned the original filing.

Salisbury Cases – Cases originating in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, Somerset, Talbot, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties (Maryland’s Eastern Shore) are assigned to the Chief Judge.
