Motion for Leave to Appeal

Last Updated: May 2012

The Motion for Leave to Appeal must be filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court within 10 days of the entry of the interlocutory order.

If a motion for leave to appeal is filed with the notice of appeal, a filing fee is required for the docketing of the notice of appeal. There is no fee required if only the motion for leave to appeal is filed.  If the court grants the motion for leave to appeal, the appeal filing fee is due.
