Judge James F. Schneider will permit parties to appear at court hearings telephonically using CourtCall, an independent conference call company. You must contact the courtroom deputy at least 24 hours in advance to confirm that you will be permitted to appear telephonically. Click here for procedures for additional requirements as well as a list of matters where you may not appear telephonically.
Courtroom 9C in Baltimore does not have any installed presentation technology. However, with at least 48 hours advanced notice and the approval of the Judge, a projector and screen can be set up for electronic presentation. Please contact the Judge's Courtroom Deputy by email or phone to ask for approval.
Judge Schneider generally agrees to remove motions for relief from stay from the docket if a consent is reached, if there is no response, or if the parties agree to a continuance, if the Courtroom Deputy is contacted by the movant before noon on Thursday.
Motion Hearing Dates
Pre-Trial Procedures: Upon the submission of agreed upon discovery dates from both parties to the Courtroom Deputy at least one day prior to the pre-trial, appearance at the pre-trial conference will not be required.
